I would think that the Kashi crackers might be better, because if I'm not mistaken, wheat thins have corn syrup, and trans fat (listed as monoglycerides).

Ok, I must confess......tonight I went on a total emotional eating binge. My emotions have been on an up and down roller coaster these past few days which usually means that my aunt flo is on her way to visit. When I left the singles' devotional we had tonight I was really craving some greasy fast food food. I resisted that but I did stop @ the store, pick up some chips and ice cream (weight watchers, but still ice cream) and came home. I made myself a sandwich w/turkey bacon, swiss cheese and avocado, ate about half the bag of chips and both weight watchers desserts. I know that this just a small bump in the road and it doesn't happen to me very often but I thought I needed to be open about it. I've just been feeling very lonely these past couple of days and I fed that emotion w/food instead of with God. Thanks for listening and please say an extra prayer for me.

I so know what you mean, I give in to the occasional emotional binge as well. I'll have to admit, though, that yours looks much healthier than mine, I usually go full fat - all the way (hey, it's a "binge" right ). Aunt flo is on her way over here pretty soon also, so I feel your pain (and you can see what an emotional being I am around that time based on previous posts ). I do see, though, that Satan obviously wanted to attack anything that you are learning at your singles' devotions, because you dealing with an equal and opposite reaction than what you're probably learning. That's exactly how he works, he's always trying to prove to God that we don't really believe what we read/study in his word. It seems like everytime I read or study something profound, I am tested in that very area...seriously tested to the point that I almost totally forget what I got from the message/Word in the first place. You know that we'll always listen to you here, and whether you realize it or not, you are always in my prayers. I know it seems weird because I hardly know you, but the Lord has placed it on my heart to remember you specifically each time I pray. If you ever need to vent again, or are feeling lonely, I'm here...

I don't get it.....I started a journal on the o2 site just for some additional encouragment and motivation and it's like I'm talking to myself! I"m like....what's wrong w/you ppl? Do I have the plague or something? I'm just confused, I've been frequenting the motivation section, looking @ journals of other ppl and it seems like it could be a good thing...but noone wants to write in mine! Kinda depressing......Just a vent I feel better today than I did this weekend...My emotions were out of wack plus I had to work both days so I think that made me feel like I was out of the social circuit which made me feel lonely....But anyway...didn't mean to dump my stuff all over you like you're my shrink or something...LOL

Don't worry about it, it's all good, and good to hear you're feeling better. BTW, I'll write in yours , it might kinda feel like de-ja-vu, though , LOL

Also, maybe the reason that you're not getting many responses is that there are sooooo many journals, and everyone's writing in theirs each day, so yours gets pushed to page 2 or 3 by the end of the day, so no one can see it. Alot of people are writing in their buddies journals also, the vets of the board, or those that post like 15-20 times per day, so they're well known.
Just a thought. But other than that, it looks like you're getting pretty good traffic for the amount of entries that you have.

Maybe my expectations were a little too high.....you're more than welcome to post, btw! I tried to post a few times today to move it up to the top, but that didn't work too well...oh well...maybe I don't need to get sucked into that worldly stuff anyways and just stick with ya'll

I know what you mean, it's hard not to get sucked in over there, though. There's just so much more action. Maybe one day, if it's His will, there will be a more talkative bunch around here. Then we'll be able to discuss our fitness goals in a context of what really matters, as well as our spiritual goals. I know that there's gotta be more people out there like us, but where are they?
