I recently sent this in an email to a friend, but thought I'd share it here as well. She wanted to find protein drinks that were not lactose based, as her stomach is unable to handle the sugar in cows' milk: Here's the goat milk protein that I'd seen. I think there are other sizes, brands, and prices available, but this is the actual website so that you can read what it's all about. www.vyotech.com/products/oryx/I know also that Nature's Plus Source of Life also carries protein powders and other supplements that are really good quality. Here's a list of their protein and energy drinks www.naturesplus.com/products/category.asp?cryteria=category&category=24&productNumber=45941( just hit the down button in the search area to see them all) which I think are all soy based, but not w/all the sugar (the nutrition facts are there for you to check out.) I'm not sure where to buy the goat milk one, I've only seen the ads. But the Nature's Plus I see all the time at my local health food stores. And they will send you coupons and everything for their products. I actually have a $3 off coupon that they just sent me along w/a free Source of Life shaker cup for on-the-go protein drinks. www.sourceoflife.com/register.asp Spiru-tein (by Nature's Plus) also will send you coupons and a free Spiru-tein shaker cup for some of their many soy/veggie based products. www.spiru-tein.com/register.aspHopefully some of those will work for you, to help you have something balanced and healthy in between meals, w/o having to actually stop and eat something. God Bless,
