It's been quiet around here. Hope everyone is doing good. I am doing great Blessed and missing my daughter and my sisters in Christ. DeeDee, how are you doing? I hope everything is going good. God bless you and your lovely family. Monique where are you girl? Take 5 minutes to say hi to us. We miss your updates. Dori, where are you girl? I like knowing what you eat everyday cause you and TaQuilla give me motivation on ways to get "fit4him"....LOL if you know what I mean. My precious daughter I know your computer is down and you are logging when you can. I got my computer now so I'm trying to check in more often. My family struck with that old flu bug that swept the country with all the strange weather but after passing it around, we did some powerful prayer and disinfecting the house, I'm glad to report that we are all bless-fully better. I pray that none of you are going through that bug. Anyway prayers be with you all. Yo

Well, I sure miss everyone, too! And guess what? I'm back on-line , Steve finally called the computer place to find out why they hadn't called us (we thought something major must've been wrong) but they were like, oh yeah it's been fixed, you can come get it whenever! I don't know why they hadn't called us, they said they'd call w/in 3 days when they could figure out what was wrong, and then a week went by with no word. I wonder how long it had been sitting there, fixed, all alone and missing me . OK, so maybe I was just missing it, but "we're" back nonetheless. And I'm ready to talk your heads off ladies. We did get that horrible bug you talked about, first Steve and AJ, and now (that I've nursed them back to health) me. Isn't that how it always happens? Anyways, thanks for the prayers ladies. I'm alive and well, at least until the end of the month rolls around, then I'll cry to you all again like I do every month. ;D

I love tuna steak, and the blackening seasoning is wonderful on it. I never liked salmon (or any fish for that matter), or at least I didn't think I did, until I worked at Red Lobster about 5 or 6 years ago. I had to try everything on the menu to be able to describe it to my customers, and was pleasantly surprised. I'm still not that big on seafood though, but I love the types of fish that "don't taste fishy", lol. I love tuna (always have), but other similar fish that you may like are halibut, mahi mahi, and tilapia, which are all milder tasting (read: "tastes like chicken" ). And, if it's cooked well, and seasoned just right, you might just fall in love w/salmon like I did. Which actually doesn't taste fishy like I thought it would (if it has a strong odor, it's usually not a good, fresh piece of fish). I'll try to post some good tuna recipes for you though, as well as the staple in my house: chicken (or poultry of all kind, for that matter). Good to hear from ya!

Hey, I'm sure glad to here from my girls. Glad everyone is back in action. TaQuilla, your mother missed you dearly. I guess we should start a new saying " you can take the girl from her computer but don't take the computer from the girl."..lol.
