Hey, it's TaQuilla (KiKi) your moderator, and I just wanted to welcome you all to Virtue & Strength Message Board. I created this board as a way for us all to stay in touch, encouraged and motivated. This is for every woman that strives to live the virtuous and healthy life (Prov. 31:10-31) that God has created them for! There is something for everyone here, and I pray that you will all make yourselves at home, and feel free to ask ANY questions as they arise, give ANY encouragement/advice when you can, and if nothing else, just lurk around when ever you get a chance and glean wisdom and knowledge from the other ladies on the board. Let's have fun, keep it clean , keep our minds and hearts open to others, visit often, and keep praying for the strength that only He can give us to remain virtuous and strong! Remember... Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised! Prov. 31:30 P.S. Just ignore the stupid ads at the top of the page, in order for this forum to remain free, the sponsors get to advertise on the site. Maybe if I ever get some money, I'll just pay for an add free site. But for now, just know that those ads do not represent me or my beliefs, I have nothing to do with them. But if you have a business and want to advertise on this board, I'd much rather see your ads up there than some of these others (some are ridiculous).

Hey, KiKi Looking foward to talking and sharing ideas, info, blessful testimonies and how to be that virtuous woman that God called us to be. It does a mother good to see God's word in action. It said in Prov. 22:6 "Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." You are living proof of that. God bless you, Mom

I am honor to be apart of such a wonderful group of ladies, that I call my family. I know that if we continue to trust in the lord, this site will help us all grow closer to God and one other. It saids in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will direct your path. I love you both. So no picture at this time.

Hey All, I found TaQuilla on the Oxygen website forums and I feel very blessed to have found this site! It is so great to find other christian women out there who are dedicating their diet and exercise regimen to God and not to the world. I Corinthians 3: 16-17 is what truly convicted me to change the way I thought about food last year "Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple." I look forward to getting to know all of you better

I'm so glad you came to join us! I hope you will find/give lots of encouragement. I know that your story will inspire us all, seeing how for you've come with your spiritual journey to weight loss, and good health. I'm happy that the Lord led us to cross one another's path.

I am as well! Our God is an awesome God, isn't he? To everyone else, I felt I should properly introduce myself My name is Dori and I'm a 27 year old single female currently living in nashville tn. I'm originally from Pittsburgh PA but I just love the warmer weather here in the south I guess I can say I started on the fitness journey about october of last year, but didn't get really serious about it until january. I have a friend who is currently serving in the military and a former powerlifter who was my personal trainer for about 7 months. She literally saved my life. With the help of God, her, and a few other of my friends who were very supportive this past year, I lost 65 pounds so far and hope to lose about 65 more. It really is a lifestyle change. I've learned through this plateau that i'm trying very hard to get out of and the holiday season that it's not about the weight that you are currently losing (or not so much) but about keeping up the good habits that you've developed even when you feel like you aren't making much progress. I'm doing my best to hop back on the wagon full force despite the season and continue on my journey to a fitter temple for the Holy Spirit to reside in! I hope to develop some great friendships and encourage each one of you in some way

:)Welcome Dori (fit4him), & Welcome to my Other Daughter (Deanna) Sorry it took so long for me to sit down and welcome my spiritual sisters. I am Yolanda (TaQuilla's Mother) and I am so bless and happy to see you young women doing what you know our Lord God wants us to do. Anyone can try to lose weight or shape up. But when you are cleaning your Temple and changing your eating life and your spiritual life to please Him, that makes this all worth it. Great job Dori on your 65 lbs, that really motivates me even more. I only started almost 2 weeks and so far I've lost 3 lbs. but that's great because I'm looking foward to the permanent changes. Praise God!!! Looking forward to learning and sharing wisdom and testimonies.
May God Bless you virtuous women. Yolanda
