Hi everyone,
How was your 4th of July? I had a great day, spend it over my daughters. Not only was I celebrating the holiday, but the 30 pounds I've lost. So in celebration I did treat myself and ate a little of everything, but I didn't over do it. But in prepartion of that, I did go to water arobics yesterday morning, and I did make it to Curves this morning. So I still got my workouts in while at the same time drinking plenty of water. More than usual.

The 4th was great and I spent it at some good friends house. The best part was everyone is trying to eat better so as host snd hostess they served grilled chicken and baked potato with the fixings. That was good and not to bad on my waistline. However if I can complain a little, I love Arizona because when the rest of the nation is experiencing horrible weather you can always count on us swimming out here, but I must admit we are experiencing a heat wave and it was 116 degrees yesterday and 115 today. IT'S HOTTTTTTT very very hot. We sweat all day and must remember to replace our water but it seems like you just can't drink enough.

Ours was good. We spent the first half of the day, doing what we always do lately - fixing up stuff around the house - and then we went to a friends house and relaxed the rest of the night. They also had some grilled chicken and even tossed salad, and watermelon for dessert. So it was easier to eat well while there (although normal bbq fare was also available - hot dogs, burgers, ribs). Sorry to hear about all of that heat, cause it's been feeling GREAT here lately. We went through a hot spell, but the last week or so has been gorgeous, low-mid 80s.

I had a great time, we was able to send time with our Christine friends. That alway a blessing for me. We made sure we had health food to serve to our guest. Okay the desert was another thing, I made homemade bread pudding with rum sauce. When I tell you good eats, everyone love it.
