I have that book! I don't know why I haven't read it yet. As a matter of fact I think I have both of these. I have to check my library and see. (A nice way of saying my bookcase)

let us know when you get your book, then we'll start
I think they're pretty cheap on Amazon.com or ebay (like $3-6)

Another good book is "The Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie Omartin. If you haven't already check that one out. And Beth Moore has an online book study called "Believing God" This is the link. www.lifeway.com/believinggod/

I've done a group Bible Study on "The Power of a Praying Wife", and I do have most of her books. I haven't read "The Power of a praying parent" though it's on the shelf. Beth Moore does some good study books, as well. I've only done one though, and I can't remember the name...

I'll be ready to start this when we return from our trip next week, so "All Aboard"! Things are getting crazy around here w/the house, so I need the accountability to make sure that I'm giving Him his time. I'm thinking we could start out doing a chapter a week or so and see how that goes (we may end up moving quicker than that, who knows ), and discuss how/if it lines up w/the Bible, and, most importantly encourage each other in how to apply it. (After this one, we could do one of the others that've been suggested as well. Keep it going) I'm looking forward to it ladies!

Hey, Cheryl or Ta'Quilla, I'm not quite sure which book we decided on. If one of you can let me know so that I make sure I have it I'll be ready when TaQuilla gets back.

I'm sorry, so many great books were mentioned that I didn't clarify which one. We'll start first w/ A Wife After God's Own Heart. I'm going to begin Chapter 1 today.

Id love to be a part of this, although I am not married, so maybe when you finish that one, we could start another?

Absolutely! We can start figuring out which book to do now, that way we'd all have time to get our hands on a copy (of whatever it is). There is also the "Woman after God's own heart" (for all women, married/single) mentioned earlier, did you have a particular study in mind?
You can also check out the link that I (tried to) gave above (read my edit, though) for a list of Bible Studies pertaining specifically to women and our walk w/Christ, including Character studies, and studies of certain books of the Bible that address a woman's walk w/God.
